AWS EC2 instances start/stop automation with Cloudwatch and System Manager Automation

Our development team got bigger and we got more and more EC2 instances for each dev team. But, they are not in use after office hours. In order to save costs, we make a plan to stop and start at a certain time.

There are quite a lot of ways to automate EC2 instances to start and stop. For our case, I choose Cloudwatch to trigger AWS…
